Toyota Sienna Minivan 2011 Unveiled

Toyota Motors have been very active at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The Sienna Minivan model 2011 cashes a price tag from US$24,260 – This is a surprising lower price than the current model by $340. The price of the SE Sport model series has been set from $30,550. A moderate price has also been announced for the limited production model AWD that will sell from $39,770. The conservative price strategy projects the mood of the automakers to meet the slower market competition challenges.

The tight mashet of Camry, Prius, R4V4, Venga and Highlander may still provide enough room for Sienna. Toyota is now intending to attract the family buyers looking for spacious old order cars.  The financially moderate families too will be attracted by moderate pricing and spacious interiors.

Toyota Sienna has been built at Toyota facilities in Southern California. Sienna 2011 borrows quit a few styles from 2006 F3R concept. The new model incorporates bolder features upfront than its predecessor. The engineers have also managed to bundle the Van’s sliding door tracks to put up a neater look.

LED taillights are added to highlight the rear.Toyota Sienna Minivan will be available in two Horse Power settings. 182 Horsepower 2.7 Ltr. four-cylinder that was used in Venza Crossover. The other more powerful 266 Horsepower 3.5 Ltr. V6.

The Sienna V6 is expected to hit the market first, while the other following 4/6 months after. The engines of both models come with the American style 6 speed automatic transmission. These models will feature 26 mpf becoming the most fuel efficient minivan.

V6 – equipped models will have an all-wheel drive option available at an extra cost of $1,270 to $2,340. The base model van sienna LE is anticipated to become popular. The XLE model will have leather seats ad a moon roof giving a very versatile touch to the family van.

The Sienna series top model is its limited model. Some very unique options are reserved for it. A split screen rear entertainment system and an all new 180 degree rear camera. Toyota cannot ignore the new generation young customers looking for driving excitement. For them Toyota has designed a Sport oriented SE model. This will be a sports car replica upfront including grille and 19 inch wheels. Sport type suspension, steering and especially designed interior. The show rooms will see Sienna 2011 in February.
