Nissan developed a very promising racing Nissan GT-R Sports car. The iconic car introduced in 2008 won the championship in debut year scoring the fastest ever Nurburgring lap for a production car. this feat made it an award winning car. In 2009 GT-R won 4 victories in Japanese Super GT Series.
Nissan GT-R sports car is now looking forward to 2010 racing events in the super GT Series of GT 500 class. The plans are to participate with 3 to 4 GT 500 bhp racers to keep best changes of retaining the championships. Nissan is hitting the commitment of good design cars delivering high performance for the joyful driving.
The second stage plans fare to give technical support to NISMO terms to compete with at least 4 GT-Rs in the forth coming FIA GT1 World Championships. They are also working on Long term planning to encourage racing enthusiasts through scholarships at grass root level.
The NISMO, Team IMPUL and KONDO Racing will run GT-Rs to present and compete with world top class drivers. Nissan will participate in the individual events in GT500 class. The newly developed 3.4 liter VRH 34A Engine will be installed in Nissan GT-Rs 2010 models.
